Texas lesson study provided our campus with an abundance of new research and strategies to support our campus goals. We appreciate our facilitators' flexibility and willingness to adjust to the needs of individual teams. We look forward to conducting more cycles in the Spring!

I found phase 2 to be a valuable experience in completing this lesson study program in that it reinforced how significant research-based studies can help a teacher produce a better and holistic lesson plan/product for the end-user -- our students, our future leaders of the world. Thank you.

2nd Grade Teacher, Blanco ES, Blanco ISD
The validity of the research process became vividly clear after the pandemic closed down schools. My group had planned for a spring TEKS. Then when we regrouped the fall of the 20-21 school year, we had to replan our lesson. It was eye opening to see how many of the fall TEKS reflected onto the preparation of our spring project.

Being a part of the Texas Lesson Study process gave me an opportunity to learn from my partner and gain confidence in my own skill when it comes to putting together a strong lesson. I really enjoyed learning new instructional strategies and gaining access to a plethora of resources.

This lesson study benefited me by not only providing me with… resources but also by allowing us to collaboratively work with our peers to share ideas on lessons and to bounce ideas off of. This lesson study also helped me practice my collaboration and lesson plan writing skills. I appreciate all of the techniques we learned online, as well as in person.
